Psalm 18 was a comfort today. It is loaded with verses to change my focus. Let's start with the first couple of verses: I love thee Jehovah, my strength. Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer; My God my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. There should be an AMEN after this or a Selah so we can stop and think about that fact right there! What a statement or a declaration to chew on for just a few moments! I know there is a lot happening right now, but this tells me to whom I can turn in the time of trouble! It continues with God hearing when I call or pray. God's response is amazing from verses 8 through 17. As you continue you will see where you land with God on your side. Verse 19: He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me because he delighted in me. (Think about this statement!) He delights in you! He loves you for YOU! We can give excuses as to why we are the way we are, but He still loves us. Continue reading.....He stands beside us in warfare....He rescues us from# our enemies. The psalm ends with praise once again. #PraisetheLord #Psalm18 #Waymaker #Deliverer #Rescuer
